Favorite Places on the planet: Santa Fe and Abiquiu, New Mexico. Salt Spring Island and the Gulf Islands. Vancouver, Canada. Oban, Scotland. The Big Island (Aloha). Koh Ta Kiev island in Cambodia. Bangkok and Prachuap Khiri Khan, Thailand. And all those places I've yet to be, and therefore can't comment on.

Black and starry nights in the country. Campfires. One-street towns. The desert. Palm trees. Monkey trees. Weeping Willows. The ocean. Strong winds. Big long, tight hugs. Good storytellers.
